Specification for installation design of oil tanks at gas stations

The oil tank area of a gas station is composed of multiple oil tanks. Each tank area generally stores one kind of oil. The oil tank area must have facilities such as fire fighting, lightning protection and anti-static. The above-ground oil tank farm will also need to build fire dikes. It is necessary to continuously carry out settlement observation work. The installation design specifications for gas station oil tanks are as follows:

1. Requirements for backfilling of oil tanks at gas stations:
The thickness of the soil covering on the top of the oil tank of a gas station shall not be less than 0.5m and not more than 1.0m. The surrounding storage tank equipment should be backfilled with fine sand or fine soil, and its thickness should not be less than 0.3m. When oil tanks are likely to rise due to groundwater or rainwater, storage tank equipment should be adopted. As for the anti-floating measures, a liquid level gauge with high liquid level alarm function should be installed.

2. Gas station oil tank vent pipe setting:
Gas station storage tank equipment vent pipes should be centrally arranged near the tank area, gasoline and diesel storage tank equipment vent pipes should be installed separately, and the vent pipe installation should meet the following requirements:

The vent pipe specification is ≥DN50, the vent pipe mouth should be higher than the ground ≥4m, and the vent pipe mouth should be equipped with a flame arrestor. The distance between the nozzle and the center line of the wall can be as little as 2 meters. The vent pipe nozzle laid up along the wall (column) of the building should be higher than the top surface of the building by ≥1.5m. Gasoline tank vent pipe should be equipped with manual valve.
