What kind of steel does 15CrMoR steel plate belong to

15CrMoR steel plate is used for pressure vessel. It belongs to a medium temperature hydrogen resistant steel.

"15" is the carbon content of 0.15%
"Cr" is a chemical element containing chromium.
"Mo" is a chemical element containing molybdenum.
"R" is the first letter of the container plate.

15CrMoR heat treatment: normalizing and tempering is usually used.
When the temperature is below 550℃, the rupture strength is higher.
