What is Corten B steel temperature range

Corten B steel is a variation of high strength low alloy construction grade steel with additional Cu to enhance corrosion resistance. Corten B steel is not normally considered for elevated temperature applications. So what is Corten B steel temperature range?

The normal Corten B steel temperature range is 200-400 degrees F with monthly excursions to 600-900 degrees F for short periods of time. Corten B steel has good anti-corrosive properties, and thus can minimize the need for maintenance and corrosion-prevention treatment.

Corten B steel is typically used in advanced engineering and construction where corrosion resistance is important. Corten B steel can be customized for shapes and other tailoring options  upon request.
