SUS304 stainless steel plate and stainless steel coil production process similarities and differences:
Similarities:
1. Raw material preparation: The first step in the production process is to obtain high quality SUS304 stainless steel raw materials from suppliers.
2. Hot rolling: In the hot rolling stage, the raw material is heated and extruded through the roller mill to form the required sheet or coil infrastructure.
3. Pickling/cold rolling: After hot rolling, the sheet or coil may need to be pickling to remove the oxide and adjust the size and surface quality through the cold rolling process.
4. Annealing treatment: The sheet or coil may need to be annealed at this stage to eliminate stress and improve material properties.
5. Cutting: According to customer requirements, SUS304 stainless steel plate or SUS304 stainless steel roll will be cut to the required size.
The difference:
1. Finished form: The main difference lies in the finished form. The stainless steel plate is flat, and the stainless steel roll is a rolled molding product.
2. Processing technology: Due to different forms, there are differences in different processing equipment and process flow. For example, for the production of SUS304 stainless steel coils, special processes such as winding and unfolding need to be considered.
3. Follow-up treatment: Due to different shapes and uses, SUS304 stainless steel plates and rolls are also different in follow-up treatment. For example, stainless steel sheets often require leveling and polishing, while coils may require special winding and packaging treatments.
4. Use: Although the same raw materials and part of the production process are used, due to different forms, SUS304 stainless steel application fields and uses may also be different, and these factors need to be taken into account in the design and treatment of production.
