S355J2 material is one of the most common high strength steel for construction. It is non-alloy structural steel under standard EN10025-2. With its increase yield strength of S355 MPa over other construction steels such as S275 and S235, S355J2 material is an excellent choice for delivering critical components or major structures. Below we will show S355J2 material properties in detail.

For S355J2 material, J2 designation confirms that S355J2 material has undergone longitudinal Chary V-Notch impact testing at 27J (Joules) at -20 Centigrade. S355J2 material also has various varietas, for example:
S355J2+AR A structural grade (S) with the same minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm²m, but supplied in an 'As Rolled condition' (AR).
S355J2+N - A structural grade (S) with the same minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm²m, but supplied in an 'Normalized condition' (N).
