Research and Application of Flexible Rolling Technology for Q235B Steel Plate

BBN steel often receives customers’ multi-grade, multi-specification and diversified order contracts of for Q235B steel plate, which brings difficulties to large-scale and continuous production within the enterprise. In order to meet the market changes and user needs, we have studied the existing Q235B steel plate products. By optimizing the composition and formulating appropriate production process, a flexible rolling technology of multi-rolling and multi-specification co-line production of one steel has been formed on the plate production line. It can not only meet the diversified needs of users, but also realize the continuous production of enterprises.

Flexible rolling technology refers to: in the rolling process, rolling technology has greater flexibility and adaptability. Generally, it can be divided into two types: flexible rolling technology of product shape and size and flexible rolling technology of product structure and performance. At present, many enterprises have done some related research in this area. In order to reduce the number of cross sections of continuous casting slab in production process, simplify the production organization, improve the production capacity of rolling mill, reduce energy consumption and save production costs, BBN medium and heavy plate plant, on the basis of existing research, according to market changes and user needs, compared with the product outline, carried out a flexible rolling process Research on Q235B steel plate, using ordinary Q235B continuous casting slab, and passed through.
