Q345R steel is one of the most often used materials to build specified elevated boilers and pressure vessels. Q345R steel has good weldability, and it is not easy to form cold and hot crack in common conditions. However, with large thickness and in low ambient temperature working environment, Q345R steel may produce cold, hot cracks.
Q345R steel properties:

Q345R steel contains certain amount of alloy elements, its yield strength tends to be high. Q345R steel are normally supplied as Q345R steel plates in the as-rolled condition. The Q345R plates may also be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both.
