JIS G3101 SS400 coil price is expected to be stable on Asian market in June

In May, the Asian flat steel market rose and fell in different ways. However, affected by the continuous recovery of China's domestic market, the Asian steel market showed a stable and rising trend as a whole. In May, China's domestic comprehensive JIS G3101 SS400 coil and so on flat steel products price rose 1.3% month on month. In early May, as China's domestic steel prices rose, so did its export prices.

In early May, the imported CFR reference price of JIS G3101 SS400 coil and so on hot rolled coils in Southeast Asia was higher than before. China's domestic inventory level continues to decline, which is the support of domestic price rise. Social steel stocks in China have been declining since April. In May, national social JIS G3101 SS400 coil and so on steel stocks were down 20.8% from last month, among which steel plate stocks were down 7.9% from last month.

Japan, for the time being, has not been exempted from the US steel and aluminum tax, but its domestic JIS G3101 SS400 coil and so on steel price is relatively stable. It is expected that in June, the Asian flat steel market will be in stable operation.
