In fiscal year 2020, the output of finished steel products in Japan was 73.5 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.8%, of which the output of finished steel products of carbon steel was 58.7 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.5%, and that of finished steel products of special steel was 19.8%. In terms of the output of carbon steel products by varieties, the output of hot rolled coil was the highest, 33.99 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 15.7%; The second was cold rolled coil, 14.02 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.6%; The third is medium and heavy plate, with 8.21 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 15.3%.
