SS 400 steel is popular steel for proper tensile strength and toughness, good plasticity, welding performance and processing property. It is know that A36 steel is SS 400 equivalent ASTM material. But do you know the other ASTM material A283 Gr C, whose performance is also close to SS 400 steel. Is SS 400 equivalent to ASTM A283 Gr C steel?
