The material 16Mo3 etc. steel exported from Latin America to the United States rose to 877,600 tons in August from 812,700 tons last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

Exports in August were $671 million, up 34.5% from $499 million in the same period last year and 17.1% from $573 million in July.
