From January to February 2020, China's steel exports exceed 7.8 million tons

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, China's steel production in 2019 reached 1204.774 million tons, with a cumulative growth of 9.8%. By the end of February 2020, China's steel production had reached 167126000 tons, a cumulative decrease of 3.4%, a cumulative daily output of 2785400, a year-on-year decrease of 15.61%, and a cumulative daily output of 5.0% month on month decrease of December 2019.

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs of China, China's steel exports in 2019 reached 64.29 million tons, down 7.3% in total. By the end of February 2020, China's steel exports had reached 7.811 million tons, a cumulative decrease of 27%.

In terms of export amount, in 2019, China's steel export amount reached US $53760.26 million (US $53760260 million), a cumulative decrease of 11.3%. By the end of February, 2020, China's steel exports had reached US $6106.89 million (US $6106894 million), a cumulative decrease of 28.5%.
