C45 (1.0503) is a kind of medium carbon high strength steel with high strength. Because of poor hardenability, it is used in normalizing condition. Cold deformation, medium plasticity, annealing and normalizing of machinability are better than quenching and tempering. Used to manufacture parts with higher strength requirements, such as gears, shafts, pistons, pins, etc., and mechanical parts, forgings, stampings and bolts, nuts and pipes that are not subjected to great stress.
Delivery status, delivery in the absence of heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing, or high temperature tempering). Deliveries requiring heat treatment shall be noted in the contract and delivered without heat.

C45 high carbon steel has the good grain and mechanical properties.BBN steel also have C35, C55, C60, C55k, and C35K. More detailed information about EN10083-2 C45 steel mechanical properties, please contact us.
