4Cr13 standard: GB/T 1220-1992. The 4Cr13 characteristic is higher than 3Cr13 hardness and good corrosion resistance after quenching.

4Cr13 steel plate mechanical property
Hardness: annealing, less than 201HB, the indentation diameter 3.9~4.3mm; quenching, more than 50HV
Specification and metallographic structure of heat treatment:
Specifications for heat treatment: 1) annealing at 800~900 DEG C or chilled at about 750 DEG C; 2) quenching, 1050~1100 DEG C, oil cold. (3) Tempering, quick cooling at 200~300 DEG C.
Microstructure: the microstructure is characterized by Martensite.

Delivery status: 4Cr13 steel plate is delivered in annealed condition. Forging: oil quenching for some crack sensitivity of die steel, forging heating for rapid heating, preferably a preheating in 650-750 degrees, forging temperature is 1130-1150 degrees, the final forging temperature should be higher than 800-850 degrees, the maximum temperature of ingot forging. The lower limit temperature should be taken during blank forging.
