4130(E4130) alloy steel plate , also referred to as Chromoly Steel and SAE/AISI 4130, is a chromium and molybdenum alloy steel. Known for its responsiveness to mechanical and heat treatments, 4130(E4130) alloy steel plate is weldable by most commercially popular methods. Cold working is possible and forming often takes place in the annealed condition. It is important to note that the machining of 4130(E4130) alloy steel plate is difficult when the hardness of the alloy increases. Alloy Steel 4130 is popular in a number of critical industries such as aerospace, automotive, and oil and 4130(E4130) alloy steel plate gas.
