In the real use process, HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate needs certain grinding.
The key points of grinding technology for HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate:
1. On the basis of the visual inspection of HARDOX500 steel plate, such as whether there is leakage welding, weld penetration, uneven depth of solder joints, deviating from the joint too far, local sag, docking, whether there are deep scratches, bruises, serious deformation and other defects in this process. If there are such defects, the HARDOX500 steel plate should be returned to the upper process to fix. If there is no above defect, the the HARDOX500 steel plate can enter the grinding process.
2. Coarse grinding. That is to grind HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate with sand belt on three sides, to remove the welding spot left by the welding of the workpiece, and the scratch in the step process to achieve the initial shape of the welding corner. There is no scratch on the horizontal and vertical surfaces, and the roughness of the HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate should be R0.8mm after this step.
3. Half fine grinding. It is mainly the correction of the joint in the preceding process and the further fine grinding of the marks produced after the rough grinding. The marks left in the preceding process should be repeatedly sharpened to achieve no scratch on the HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate surface. The surface roughness of the process should be R0.4mm.
4. Fine grinding. The goal of this process is that the joint between the grinding part and the HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate is basically disappearing, the surface of the workpiece is brightening, and the HARDOX500 steel plate after grinding by this process is basically close to the mirror surface effect, and the surface roughness of the workpiece should be R0.1mm.
Therefore, after a few steps as above, HARDOX500 abrasion resistant steel plate can play a better role in the process of application and can be better used.
