European S235JR hr coil price keeps stable

The overall price of S235JR hr coil and so on hot rolled steel coils in Europe is relatively stable. As of October 8, the transaction price of Nordic hot coil market was 496.35 euro / ton (583.31 US dollars), down 1.15 euro / ton (1.38 US dollars) compared with 497.50 euro / ton (588.7 US dollars) on October 7, mainly due to the low purchase intention of buyers and the small volume of new transactions.

Overall, however, volume rose by 5.58 euro / ton (US $6.61) on a week-on-month basis, and 28.40 euro / ton (US $33.52) month on month. It is reported that the latest quotation is 490-500 euro / ton (579.8-591 US dollars), and the latest transaction price of hot rolled steel coils is 495-505 euro / ton (585.7-697.5 US dollars).

Although European buyers generally hold a wait-and-see attitude towards the price of S235JR hr coil, steel mills are still bullish on the price of S235JR hr coil from January to March 2021, which has not yet been delivered.
