How to install and fix NM500 wear resistant steel plate

NM500 wear resistant steel plate has been used in modern industrial production on a large scale, but its installation and fixing methods have been some doubts. In order to better facilitate the use of NM500 wear-resistant plate, BBN steel summed up the following three ways:

Welding: The base metal of large area clad steel plate is with good weldability. When two plates are needed to be joined together, the back base metal can be welded together first, and then the front surfacing layer can be filled up with the corresponding surfacing electrode. NM500 wear resistant steel plates can also be welded to other steel structures.

Plug welding: plasma or carbon arc gas gouging can be used to open hole for NM500 wear resistant steel plate, to connect NM500 steel plate to other steel structures by plug welding method.

Bolt Fixation: The bolt can be welded to the base metal of NM500 steel plate by welding method, and then connected with other workpieces, or can be drilled on NM500 wear resistant steel plate, and connected with other workpieces by bolts.

The above three methods can be flexibly selected according to different industries and mines, and basically can meet the requirements.
