AGC is an essential technology to ensure high thickness accuracy of ASME SA36 mild steel sheets. The most commonly used AGC method to control thickness of ASME SA36 mild steel sheets is to use finishing mill outlet thickness gauge to measure thickness deviation, and to control monitor AGC at the down position of all racks after finishing.
However, when the feedback between the frame is not correct, the thickness correction of ASME SA36 mild steel sheets will focus on a particular frame, and sometimes it can lead to large load changes in order to adapt to the rolling of ASME SA36 mild steel sheets that have very large plastic constant.
Based on the measured thickness of each rear rack, the thickness deviation of ASME SA36 mild steel sheets is minimized. At the same time, because the absolute value AGC is also used on the front rack of the SA36 steel sheets thickness gauge, the thickness control system of the whole rack can be achieved. Because the thickness control system of SA36 mild steel sheets does not focus the correction of plate thickness deviation on a specific frame, it can accurately control thickness of ASME SA36 mild steel sheets.
