Chemical composition of A612 steel plate

A612 steel plate is a kind of killed C-Mn-Si steel plate for medium and low temperature welding pressure vessel. The maximum thickness of A612 steel plate is 25 mm.

Chemical composition of A612 steel plate (%):
C melting analysis ≤ 0.25, finished product analysis ≤ 0.25;
Mn smelting analysis is 1.00-1.50, finished product analysis is 0.92-1.62;
P ≤ 0.03, S ≤ 0.02 (applicable to both melting analysis and finished product analysis);
The analysis of Si melting is 0.15-0.50, and the analysis of finished products is 0.13-0.55;
Cu smelting analysis ≤ 0.35, finished product analysis ≤ 0.38;
Ni melting analysis ≤ 0.25, finished product analysis ≤ 0.28;
CR smelting analysis ≤ 0.25, finished product analysis ≤ 0.29;
Mo smelting analysis ≤ 0.08, finished product analysis ≤ 0.09;
V melting analysis ≤ 0.08, finished product analysis ≤ 0.09;
Nb melting analysis ≤ 0.02, finished product analysis ≤ 0.03 (Nb melting analysis content can be increased to no more than 0.05%, finished product analysis content can be increased to no more than 0.06%);
Ti melting analysis ≤ 0.03, finished product analysis ≤ 0.04;
Al melting analysis ≥ 0.020, finished product analysis ≥ 0.020.

Delivery status of A612 steel plate: normalizing treatment.
The dimension, shape, appearance and allowable deviation of A612 steel plate shall meet the requirements of A20M.
